Very Cool Letter on AL Stationary from Joe Cronin to Ken Smith. In the letter Joe congratulates Ken on his recent appointment as Director of the National Basball Hall of Fame.
The Document is dated 12/9/1963, and it looks like it was entered into some typ of archive on 1/24/64... Bold Cronin Signature at the bottom... Smith was a sportswriter in New York until 1957, he was appointed the director of the hall in 1963 and worked in various capacities for the hall through 1979... He also won the J.G Taylor Spink award in 1983... Great letter with fantastic content and history... $125 pp gift shipped |
