Dennis Schrader's Little Cooperstown
So I was in for the DMB Concert last week, and I had to look at his "award winning" collection. I am going to share some of my favorites. I first felt bad for the guy, but you tell his ego is off the charts. Also, almost all of the bad balls are shrink-wrapped.
Signed in ballpoint? http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...psmv9hgc0n.jpg Who forges Molitor? http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...pskot7ib7h.jpg Looks like signed yesterday: http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...pshvre9cyj.jpg http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...psr2lcf2vk.jpg I guess Klrdds, is not the only one with a Clarkson: http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...pshf4stxto.jpg http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...psynfuqxvv.jpg http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...psdaagzxzh.jpg http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...psjgz2lzym.jpg Glad to see his writing improved: http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...psw9kptjdw.jpg I have pictures of so many more if you need a good laugh |
Someone's been shopping at Roaches Corner...;)
|
That isn't a forged Molitor. As you can see its Molitar. Maybe a grounds keeper or something?

I don't get the write up. Is this DMB's collection or Dennis Schrader's? Who is Dennis Schrader? He must be a regular at CC. Did you say anything?

Cool room, but what's the significance of the two 5 gallon water jugs?

Lary KIng
I guess Larry King decided to leave an r off of Larry. Gotta feel sorry for the guy. At least the Cyndi Edwards is real
|
I'm wondering if he really feels these are all legit. I'm not trying to rip on him anymore but is he that naive or thinks that everyone else is? Is it just blind ego or what? I know we have all made mistakes in collecting but to put together such a massive collection like this, real or not, without either knowing the amount of fakes or knowing but denying it while publicly bragging about it seems crazy to me.

now think about it if you had balls this priceless , joe jackson, vic willis , julius caesar would you have them shriink wrapped and in a 1.00 ball cube? this guy is just one of millions quacks that live on the planet , it just so happens he is involved in the business we are in. he has got what he desired people coming into a museum to see his name in lights and a thread that will no doubt end up about 10 pages on here like every other one of beating a dead horse from some coaches corner ruth ball that people want to sound off on by throwing in a comment about it being bad, it is bad move on, but i must admit this guy got some balls ,
|
too bad he chose balls
and not brains to accompany him in life. Hard to believe at this point he couldn't draw some inferences from his success at acquiring nearly impossible signatures on modern lemon peels balls in mint condition. Just another Florida native :-(

It could also be that he is a pure investor and could not care less about our hobby or about sports. If so, then he knows there is a sucker born every minute, and he's just waiting for them.

If you think that is bad, there is a video at the museum where he is interviewed by the Ray's media director. It is pure gold, we are talking ego as big as his collection. Can't find it online.
