Nice unexpected gift
 

I was working at my greenhouse this morning when a friend I had not seen for about a year showed up. We talked for a little while and he said he had something for me. He walked back to his car and brought me the pictured All-Star Game T shirt. He said he had a great time at the game and figured I would like the shirt and he is right.

That's cool, Ben. The nicest gifts are the ones that are completely unexpected.

Every once in a while I like to do something nice for my friends, or my folks, not because it's their birthday, or anniversary, but because I appreciate them, and I consider myself lucky to have them in my life.

Sometimes the little things are the best. I had a girlfriend in high school that did stuff like that. I didn't appreciate it the way I should have because I was a dumb kid.
