Cameo Pepsin pins in Hake's

Just curious what the board thinks about the hammer prices on the Cameo Pepsin pins in Hake's.

I'm no expert on these, but seems low.

I found them to be maybe a little low in price the Ewing may have been the lowest. 1800-2400 would have been my guess. The others pretty much in line with todays prices 300-500 for the commons. Having owned all of those pins at one time that is why sometimes you put them in one lot. (the commons) they seem to do a little better. But all in all decent prices.

Pretty Low IMO, I picked up the Goar and Dahlen pins and was considering making a real run on the Ewing but didn't as the pins aren't really what I am collecting right now. There is still a chance that Dahlen ends up getting inducted into the HOF some day (he always seems to be on the short list of potential candidates-- although I don't know how likely that really is).

I was underbidder on a couple of them and was thinking about going the next bump. I've sold all mine over the years but at those prices, they're still good investments. I did win the lot of High Admiral Jockey pinbacks at a very reasonable price.

The individual player pins have never been the key. The team pins are hat everyone wants. But that Ewing is a great piece and well worth it. I just got one or two of the team pins and am bringing them to Cleveland.

I guess you meant "what" everyone wants. I for one would much rather have
the player pins. It must be nice knowing what everyone wants though.:)
