Wtb oddball Mantles
 

Looking for the following (condition doesn't matter):

1. Meadowgold Dairy
2. Venezuelans: 1959, 1960 (paying strong for it), and 1968
3. Laughlin (1964 World Series foes) (looking for one of the two variations)
4. Stahl Meyer: 1954, 1955
5. Holiday Inn Postcard (picturing the pool)
6. Any other oddball card/team issue photo/postcard from his playing days that I may not have seen before (I've got 340ish cards but I'm sure I'm overlooking something)
7. Bobbin Head add photos
8. Transogram - have the card but want the figure
9. Country Cooking/Kitchen (forgot the name and don't have my list on me) postcard of him batting
10. Postcard from his hospitalization with facsimile signature/thank you

I have a few oddball Mantles as well as a near set of Home Run Derby cards (waiting to get them back from PSA but have all but the host and willing to trade anything but the Mantle).

Anyone?

Bump. Getting married in three months. Want to buy some cards before it becomes "our" money...

Do not underestimate your statement!!!! I have a VERY good job. I used to have money falling out of my pockets. 20 years and four daughters later I can barely afford lunch!!! But... I wouldn't change a thing!!

Haha, it will be a bit of a trade off, but if I am happily married for 20 years with four children, I think I'll be fine without lunch or baseball cards :)

Do Flip-Cards interest you?

I've never seen/heard of a 50s/60s Mantle flip card but would definitely be interested in learning more. My goal is to eventually acquire every Mantle ever made with the exception of the test issues.

Hey Chris, i think he may be referring to the 89 Flipp-Tipps. They usually run 7-12 bucks on Ebay.

I think I have a problem... I picked up the 58 Mission Soda Premium from a hobby friend a while back. Got a great deal on it and it is an awesome piece.

I really appreciate you cruising eBay for me. Some of my all time favorite oddball cards have come as a result of your searches.

Thanks for posting. I have that one as well as the pictures of the room and the fountain. There is one that looks a bit wider and has a picture of a pool on it that I am still looking for. I saw it listed once at $35, but it had already sold before I inquired. I am down to so few cards on my want list, and some are not even particularly valuable which makes it all the more frustrating.

I have not seen it but am pretty sure it is a modern piece. Per a personal preference, I don't deal with anything that was produced later than 1969, but I occasionally see pre-1969 pieces that I never knew existed before. Do you know any information on it or have any pictures of the back?
