Old REA Auction Catalogs Giveaway
 

Having recently moved to a seniors condo, I have less space for my hobby. So, I have disposed of most of my old auction catalogs. I'm down to my REA catalogs, and I decided to ask if anyone wants any of them before I toss them away. I have the years 1995 - 1997 (which are not shown in REA's online archives) (the 1995 includes the separate addendum, has only b & w images, and shows a 12% BP, which increased to 15% in 1996!) and 2004 - 2014; I guess I got rid of the years 1998 - 2003 sometime in the past.

These catalogs are in overall nice condition, but they are not pristine because:
- I have torn out a small area of the catalog page (usually the first page inside the front cover) on which I had written my bidder ID and password.
- I marked various lots that interested me, usually with a large asterisk, and in many/most of the catalogs I wrote the winning bid amounts next to these lots.

This is NOT an open first-come, first-served giveaway offer because I really don't want to deal with shipping them. So, preference/priority will be given:
(1) First, to anyone who is willing to pick up the catalogs at my residence in Manassas, VA, or at next-week's Chantilly Show.
(2) Second, to anyone who will pick them up from me at the Cleveland National.
(3) Third, if (1) and (2) don't work, I'll consider shipping them (ugh!).

Has anyone claimed the early catalogs? Are you wanting to get rid of them in one, large group only?

Thanks for your inquiry, which causes me to realize that the way I worded my post implies that I am only interested in getting rid of them as one large group. But, this is not what I intended. In fact, I assume that most folks would be interested in only a few of the, most likely the older ones. While I'm not interested in going to the effort to ship them as one large group, I'm willing to ship a couple or a few. Also, I failed to mention that I do expect anyone who wants any of them to be shipped to pay the shipping cost.

Probably due to my failure to be more specific, only one Net54er has contacted me thus far - he is a preference/priority (3), and he wants only the 1997 & 2004 catalogs.
