1928 Fro Joy set....Not a good ending....
 

I don't think this situation is going to end well. For all of you collectors just getting into vintage, don't buy things like this, thinking they are real. They aren't. They are very poor fakes.. All you have to do is compare the pics to real ones....or ask our community.

I have long heard the stories about the Fro-Joy fakes...I'm glad I never weakened.

I'm glad I was never attracted to the set. Add that to the fact that the fakes far outnumber the real ones and.........

I have the complete set graded and yes there are more fakes out there than authentic cards. My suggestion is to only buy these cards that are currently graded by BVG. If you don't do your homework on these cards you will likely get burned.
