SOLD 1939 NY Yankees scorecard/program - Lou's last season

2 Attachment(s)
Yankees vs Red Sox partially scored scorecard/program (12 pages)......Joe DiMaggio vs Ted Williams

Trying to figure out date of game......hold please

I think Gehrig was listed as Captain in the programs later in the season, so think this is b4 that as he is listed as i.f. (infield)

Example from Ebay:

Paul,
Great item.
Interesting note is that the auction you linked to was an absolute steal. The seller badly mis listed it. That is a 1939 All Star Game program that he listed as a Yankee scorecard. If you look, you see all the players are from different teams and Gehrig is listed as "capt".
Good Luck with your item.
Mark

Rick I believe you are correct from that July 8 DH, just 4 days after Lou Gehrig Day.........and Mark thanks for pointing that out about the link.

Looks like the All Star one sold for 150 in my link, then sold for 200 by the winner of the 1st link, now being listed for 499 by the winner of the 2nd link.
