Outstanding Eye-Appeal on lower grade cards...

I have been picking up lower graded early 70's and back cards and am very satisfied with my picks and the satisfaction derived from collecting great looking cards. Anyone else collecting cards like those I described?

Buy the card, not the holder is a great motto to collect by. :)

that has always been my attitude towards collecting. Got some sweet cards!

You can find some real bargains especially if you ignore a little back damage as well.

No doubt, I do not overlook the backs, I buy solid cards. Pre-war is tougher, as you know, nice card there!!!

If I can find a nice mid grade card with great eye appeal, I'll go for that every time.

That's my whole philosophy as well.

Plus ya gotta love it when a card in lower grade smokes examples in a higher grade-- it drives some gradewhores crazy inside ;)

Hi Dave

Those are the types of cards that when I get them stay with me. You get all the beauty at a fraction of the cost.
