Hi Brandon. What would have been used inside this ball as a core and wind?

Hey Dan - This particular ball has a tightly wound fine string, similar if not the same as with what is was stitched with wrapped around some other type of soft material. We actually took an x-ray of this ball, nothing solid inside, just soft material, possibly a wad of leather in the middle to start it off.
