This seller sportsworld-auctions has items with Reggie Jackson COA that look off to me. I always thought Reggie Jackson COA was rock solid, so I am a bit hesitant to post this. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, so I have been watching the store's items over the past few weeks. The Berra and Killebrew balls all look bad. Thoughts?

I haven't seen a JSA/PSA thread yet, but I haven't looked to hard either. The Musial Stuff, Berra Balls, Willie Mays Stuff, Ernie Banks stuff is all NO GOOD! The same person is signing all of it, it is all done fresh. I am wondering if the bats they are using which are used today were issued in 2002 like they claim. My guess is that the style of the bat might be to new. Also.. they were a large distributor for Reggie.com. I think they have old rolls of stickers and cards and the database is not active, or they are using the same numbered runs with the appropriate players. Nontheless, sigs are no good and they have already polluted the water with their crap. It's a shame.

Does anybody on the board have eBay connections? There are a ton of fakes with Reggie Jackson COA on eBay right now. I would hate for someone to get ripped off buying a holiday gift.

Once John Gonzalez left and ebay disbanded the EMR team the connections vanished.
Ebay just does not care.

This is really a shame that it appears the Reggie Jackson COAs may have been corrupted. To this point, they seemed very solid... Can't recall seeing them on any questionable items previously.

It really has been a free-for-all forgers' paradise on eBay. Reports of counterfeit or swapped Steiner COAs, Mounted Memories and now Jackson.
