I thought scrap cards usually don't have backs.

mrvster 06-17-2014 02:55 PM

only scrap blank back....

have no backs....most scraps DO have a back print....:)
These "YELLOW/BROWN" S.C 460 Factory #30 no overprints came off either 1 or 2 sheets that had survived the garbage pile.....50 % of these (roughly) are very damaged and looked "burnt".....rumor has it that the half was in a card shop where there was a fire and water damage....the yellow brown sc 460 f. #30's, there are approx. 50 + that survived(CHRIS might have the exact count)....

altho you "see" them, they are EXTREMELY RARE....collectors have not even realized the rarity of them yet(altho some have;)).....

Alex, printer's scrap T206 and other issues are merely "test" runs....and used to set up the presses....THE irony is that 100 + years ago, these were in the "SCRAP" pile:D...thought of as "garbage" back then...

now...they are coveted as some of the rarest, coolest of the T206 issues by a growing mass(ME BEING THE BIGGEST PROPONENT):)
