Yes, the hair is trimmed. The normal hair is way too long and doesn't look as accurate as the trimmed version that I created.

I thought I remembered seeing that before. Good work.

If ears were added I would know its an authentic Wagner.

I purchased one for my son last month
 

His hair is longer cut and color is darker than what's represented in picture plus in the picture his collar is a more navy color like on card but on the actual Lego figure color of collar is black and not navy. I know its just a Lego figure but was disappointed the actual item looked a little different than the pictures as the pictures of the figure look more similar to card portrait.

I tried to blank everything out of my mind...
