SOLD: 1920s Walter Johnson Base Ball Game box
The good news is this is a complete box (with great graphics and image of the Big Train) of the Walter Johnson Base Ball Game. The bad news is it is in rough condition.
Photos below are of the top of the lid, underneath of the bottom, insides of top and bottom and one side of the top and bottom. As you can see, much of the box was reinforced with brown tape long ago. Despite the condition, my guess is this could be displayed nicely in a shadow-box frame. Another plus, of course, is the price is a fraction what a complete game sells for. Price is $xxx plus exact shipping (this will need to be shipped in an oversized box to ensure no more damage is done). How about we work it like this: After a commitment is made to buy, I will package the box and ship it, then email the buyer the exact total cost. Payment can then be made. PayPal is fine. No need to "gift" your payment. (Check, cash, money order also OK and preferred). A commitment to buy takes precedence over an ongoing negotiation. Feel free to email any questions. I thought I had this priced so it would sell quickly. Oops.
Reduced to $xxx plus exact shipping, which I can't imagine will be more than $10. See the item description for how we can handle payment. If you buy this, you have my word that I will not cancel the sale, request that you pick it up or inform you after the fact that I will be delivering it in person. Thanks, Rob |
hey Rob, I`ll take it only if you leave the sale "up in the air', Cancel it, agree to meet me at the local Denny`s of MY choice, Don`t have it in hand and are still waiting to purchase it from a 3`rd party. Unless ALL of these items are met, I won`t commit to buying !!! O K, O K please send payment instructions and looking forward to a smooth transaction. Thanx again, Murph
