Selling?? Never thought I'd see the day ;)

Great cards - GLWTS!

Thanks, Derek-- here's a link to this set I've been working on (alongside all Mantles); the final couple cards I'd want for it are gonna cost me. So gonna have to essentially trade some good cards for the ones left that I want.

The Jordan will be tough, but the rest will be a piece o' cake! :D

You are just killing me, Matt. :p

I don't understand how a red Cobb could not be among any top 20 list.

calvindog 05-20-2014 04:47 PM

It's a decent but obviously very arbitrary list. Matt, I'd keep that E90-1 Jackson; that's about as iconic a card in existence. Not sure how that one didn't make it.

Have to strongly agree with Jeff. The E90-1 Jackson and T206 Portrait Cobb (red or green) have to be on a top 20 list.

I would also put an Orr rookie somewhere on that list.

Nah...

JT and JL, appreciate the good advice. The e90-1 is not likely to be replaced, and so I gave your words a good thinking-through and decided to keep it locked away. Thanks, fellas.

I would say the Crackerjack and E90-1 Jacksons are two of the most incredible cards in the hobby. I had a 1914 CJ Jackson in SGC 60 that I regret selling every day. The only card I ever sold that I regret. I don't know many cards I'd rather have than those two Jacksons.

Neither one looks like Jackson and personally I think that detracts a lot from their appeal.

personally...i love the cj jackson...hate the e90-1.

Pete,

I agree. I steered away from the color lithos, and focused on the black and white photos. I sold my cracker jack Jackson to a board member, and picked up the Boston Store and a Standard Biscuit Joe Jackson.

Matt, best of luck with your sales. Great cards!!!

Tony
