Vintage Dodger Doll: can you help identify it?

2 Attachment(s)
I inherited 58 dolls from my mother one of which is a Dodger Doll. I don't know anything about it except that it is ~14" tall, has a helmet and comes in a blue striped box that says Dodgers on it. It has a hard plastic head and hands, a soft body (rubber?) and black cleated shoes.

I've searched the internet and have only found bobble heads and pre-war dolls. I'm guessing this is from the 60s. Anyone have any guesses?

I say a ballpark doll bought in the souvenir stands, not a specific player. Looks like 70's era, too. Just my opinion.

Dodgers doll

It looks like a Johnny Hero doll to me. I believe a 1960's action figure type of doll for which they sold separately baseball and football outfits. I have an Eagles one in my collection.

kj is correct, definitely Johnny Hero (also, or later, marketed as "Olympic Hero"), made from 1965 to about 1968 by Rosko-Steele Inc.
