1922 World Series Champs NY Giants Team Signed Ball

7 Attachment(s)
1922 World Champion New York Giants signed baseball featuring John McGraw, George "High Pockets" Kelly, Casey Stengel, and Hughie Jennings.

As you probably already know the 1922 Giants swept Babe Ruth and the Yankees 4-0, and it was McGraw's last World Series Title.

The ball is shellacked, displays great and bonus its an official National League Ball.

The ball has signatures of 5 HOFers!!!!:

McGraw - Mgr.
Jennings - Coach
George "High Pockets" Kelly - 1B
Casey Stengel - OF
Dave Bancroft - SS

Other notables are:

Heinie Groh - 3B
Irish Meusel - OF
Johnny Rawlings - 2B
Earl Smith - C
Art Nehf - SP
Jesse Barnes - SP
Fred Toney - SP
Hugh McQuillan - SP
Rosy Ryan - RP
C.A. "Red" Causey - RP

There also are 3 signatures that I can not make out.

There is no JSA or PSA.

It is FRESH to the hobby.

Interesting Twist

I was contacted by an autograph expert who says the Hugh Jennings is the real deal, and believes that its quite possible that Jennings signed the McGraw signature as well as his own.

So not sure if you'd call the McGraw a "clubhouse" or a "Jennings signed McGraw".

Pretty cool.

Jennings died in 1928 and is a very rare signature.

Regardless great ball for a great price with plenty of HOFers, and not sure how many team signed ball pre-1925 pop up for under a grand!!!!!
