1971 Topps Baseball - Anybody have any they want gone?

My son (11) and I are thinking of trying to put together the 1971 Topps Baseball Complete Set . He wants to do it because the 1972 Baseball set is too big and doesnt think we can do lololol. We watch the MLB channel and he is learning a lot about the players back then, as his old man states they were better back then :-)

Does anybody have a "lot" of these they want to get rid of.
Since this is a set for him and I to do together, condition is not a big deal. Just no paper loss, miss cut, pin holes or writing.
Banged up corners, Off Center, and wax stains are just fine.

And just FYI, I will send pics of him opening the packages and putting them in the books as I know when I help kids out, I always like to see their faces too :-)

Yes

Hi-

I have a bunch. As is expected with 71 Topps Baseball, they aren't in the best of shape. Although most of what I have consists of the tough high numbers. PM me if you are interested.

Just wanted to say thanks to all those that helped my son and I build the 71 set.
While we are still a ways away from having it done, in the last week and half, I have seen my son be very happy while opening his mail. And as a father, I can not tell you how happy that makes me feel.
The kindness of this board is so awsome!

My wife asked, "so these guys just gave Zack them?" I stated yes, "because our hobby is such a tight group, and we all help each other out".

So just wanted to say thanks again for making my son happy!!! When we get it done, I will post pics of him with the book, on here.

Quick update on the 71 Set me and Zack are doing.

Thanks to the help of a lot of kind posters here, Me and Zack are just about at the 50 cards needed, spot for having the set.

We just need 50 or so of the high #'s. We have all the regular series as well as the valuable Dusty Baker/Don Baylor and the Willie Mays, and are now just left with needing High # commons and semi stars like Sparky Lyle & Orlando Cepeda.

Again, when we get it done, I will post a picture of him with the book, and can not say thanks enough.
