1939-1941 #9 shows Ted Williams--a rookie?
Since I have just seen in one of the posts below and also heard that on the PSA board the #9 shows Exhibit Ted Williams was produced from 1939-1941, does it qualify as one of his rookie cards? If so,how many times scarcer is his 1939 Goudey Premium R303A?
Adam's opinion would be especially welcome! Best, however, to all, Larry |

Ah, but the 1926-29 Exhibit Post Card Backs Foxx, Grove and Wilson are similarly positioned, and are considered rookies (w/the Grove, of course, being considered his major league rookie, and his 1921 Tip-Top his first card)--We know a player may have more than one rookie (Cobb, for example, as several from 1907, with none especially easy to come by, especially in nice condition). Are we to be consistent, or arbitrary? Comments, anyone? IMHO, this one bears further discussion.

There is no RC discussion that is not arbitrary IMO.
