REA Bid Retraction?
 

I was watching the Joe Jackson game used bat in the current REA auction - Lot #3, and it had 2 bids on it yesterday at $55,000.

Today it only has 1 bid at $50K. Anyone know how it's possible to retract a bid in these big auctions?

I could see if the lot got revised, due to an error in the listing or description, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

I think they (REA) can retract it if they feel the bidder doesn't have the financial wherewithal to complete the sale. Just my opinion.
