Typical Pricing on 1/1 PSA T206 Commons?

I just picked up a raw T206 Cycle 460 Hooks Wiltse, Portrait with Cap, in VG or VG-EX condition. I see that PSA has graded zero Cycle 350 or 360 copies of any of the 3 Wiltse poses. SGC has graded one Portrait with Cap variation.

While my your answer may be specific to my card, how does the market price rare T206s with PSA and SGC populations of zero or one?

Market price for cards with a total population of zero is zero. After all, if the card doesn't exist...

I think that Scot Reader's article on T206 back multipliers is valuable here. Look for it on T206resource.com. Cycle 460s are harder to find than the other Cycle backs. Sorry but the number of cards graded by PSA or SGC doesn't mean anything to me.

1/1

1/1 none higher T206s often sell for a considerable premium. But you have to find the right buyer. The handful of collectors trying for a PSA master set may be willing to pay substantially more than PSA basic set collectors for a 1/1 none higher card--provided they need it.

On the "provided they need it" point, some 30-40% of T206s were graded by PSA BEFORE they started tracking backs. So there are quite possibly one (or more) Wiltse Portrait Cap Cycle 460s already in PSA plastic that are not listed in the pop report.

FWIW, Cycle 460 is a somewhat underrated back on the price/difficulty spectrum.

Total population that would be true but he said total SGC and PSA population.

As far as the OP question that is a very hard question. Because it really depends on people that are collecting sets. I would say the no cap Wiltse Old Mill that sold for $1600 and it had others in the pop reports but there weren't any recent sales for that combo (to be exact there were zero on cardtarget). My point is that you won't know until you sell.

THe range

is far to wide to nail down a price.

Andy,

I know, and was just being humorous...all in good fun.

Best regards,
