Show your Mid Week Pictorials

I haven't really seen too many people post them over the years, so I figured I'd ask who's got'em and Let's show'em off!

1931 Mid Week Pictorial Joe Vosmik

Great magazine for the era, with fantastic photos. This is one of my favorites, picturing Joe Vosmik of the Cleveland Indians, in the same photo that was used on his 1933 Delong issue two years later.

I have these two, but no good scans yet. One of them has a large photo that is purportedly the first of Babe Ruth in a Yankees uniform (not shown here). I'll add some nicer scans as timer permits, but here are the covers, plus some single pages that I picked up years ago, and I'm not sure which Mid-Week Pictorials they were originally in - they could have come from one of those bound volumes they put out in the early 1920's ( - ignore my signature line while reading this).

Mid Week's

This thread doesn't seem to be getting much love, but I have always really liked Mid Week Pictorials. The photos are great and really take you back in time. The covers make for great displays at a time when there really wasn't good covers for most athletes. I really like those Babe Ruth covers. I have a couple of them for my collection, but not framed or anything. Here are a few others I like as well, but I am a golf fan as well. Hope to see more. Jason
