Net54 Tournament Trophy is missing in action
 
I won the tournament last year, but it seems the previous winner absconded with the trophy. His name is Scott T...I know nothing else. He took my address, but never sent it...I contacted him one time about it in April or May, and he said he'd send it out, but he did not. Looks like his last activity on this site was in April.

As many of you know, I own a trophy business and would happy to donate a replacement trophy. However, I believe another member of the board works in the industry and donated the previous trophy so I dont want to step on any toes. Let me know if I can be of help.

As I recall for the NCAA Tournament, the "trophy" is actually a Hal Chase, Holding Trophy T206. It's not an actual trophy.

Yep, it's the chase card, and I didn't even get to enjoy it for a day. :rolleyes:

He hasn't been on the boards in nearly a year, that sucks. If I find a chase sometime soon I will be happy to donate it as the 'trophy'.

Sorry about that Dan, that sucks. I won the Chase card trophy twice and sent it on to the next year's winner twice. It's a vg T206 Chase holding trophy for those who haven't seen it.

Yeah, someone needs to step up and set up the tourney again. Was it last year that someone set up a competing tourney bracket on here with prizes and killed the large number of contestants we used to get on the "official" brackets???

I sent a message to Scott both through Net54's system and on ebay (thanks for the suggestion I got in PM)...hopefully he'll send it along to this year's winner.

The trophy card has been found by Scott and is being mailed to me. The tournament will live on. I will set up a Yahoo group some time today. :)
