75 sspc brett

IS this really George Brett depicted on this card...the stance looks like him...but I don't think he looks like George Brett?

He always looked a little disheveled in his earlier days

I noticed there are 2 different photo croppings for this card. The one in the ebay listing in first post and the one in this ebay listing. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1975-SSPC-16...item461b1b1eff

Great call Ben....I wonder if there are any other photo crop variations from this set or if the Brett card is the only case. If the Brett is the only case of multiple croppings from this set, then the obvious question why?

75 Brett

If you go to the PSA registry to the George Brett Master Set and the SS collection, you will see a photo of the PSA 10. You can compare.

Several cards in the set have cropping differences, possibly all of them.

Does the fact that there are multiple cropping differences prove that there were two different print runs(even though SSPC agreed to never reprint??)? This 630 card set was produced on 90 card sheets, this rules out any DPs. Other collectors have found that there are both white back and cream back cards from this set and the cropping variations correlate to the type (color) of stock the cards were printed on.

The SSPC's completely confuse me. I want to get a slabbed singed Gary Carter. All the auto ones I find are slabbed with a 1976 year where as the unsigned graded cards are listed with a 1975 year. Would like to find a signed Carter with the 1975 year.

Not trying to be a D***, but why does it matter? The flip doesn't magically make it a '75 release. These are '76..

There was a second, illegal print run done without the involvment of TCMA. When my father found out he was less than pleased  .
