The one?
Sitting at my local pub a few pints in and celebrating Canada's awesomeness @ the game of hockey and discussing my hobby.
A female in the group asked which card am I most smitten with? If you could own any card until your collecting time is up which would it be? Scans welcome. Mine would be T206 Wagner proof strip. Proofs, uncut strip & Wagner |
It's clear you're not a real collector Chris, there was a female in your group? :)

It's funny you mention the T206 Wagner proof strip- about a week or so ago I was talking to another board member and this strip came up. I would take that strip over any other card-even a Wagner :D It is a Wagner!! A VERY close second would be Leon's multi-everything scrap. :D There are many other cards I'd love to own, but those are my #1 and #2. Sincerely, Clayton |

Simple for me - just a plain ol' T206 Wagner. |
No worries the conversation will soon turn to favorite romantic comedies.

If you need any help, my girlfriend can text you quotes from 'Lifetime Channel' movies.
|
Ill go with Danville's Fleet Mayberry T206 Proof.
|
I'm going with Baltimore News Ruth as well.

I want a Baltimore News Ruth too, is there a black one? I only know of red or blue?

Red Munson Old Mill Cabinet
Great catcher pose and a great set. Not much left for me to collect but I'd have to put that card near the top of my want list. I'd certainly pay well for this card!

Hey Chris--
--try "Come here often?" & "What's your sign?"
They worked for me back in the '60's!:D (Personally, I want a real nice '52 Mick!) |

I'm right with ya Fred...I'd take a '52 mantle over pretty much anything! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That convo ends with "let's go watch an old Matt Damon movie at my place." Drop the mic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I think I'd have to go with a T210 Joe Jackson...
|
Funny it seems like it wasn't long ago when that Wagner's trip was not terribly desirable... And sold for a somewhat reasonable amount.
|
|
I'll take a T206 Doyle Nat'l variation. I love the back story on that card.
|
I don't need something super rare. I'd be happy with this:
http://imageshack.com/a/img268/271/49yu.png It doesn't get any better than this, in my opinion. |

BTW Chris...I'm not sure that a "strip" of cards really counts as 1 card...kinda cheating I think!
|
I guess i'll go with a T206 Honus Wagner also but the one thats graded PSA 4. That one would fit nicely into my set.

Yep - I'd go with this one also. |
Wagner ....
Wagner scrap! Chris....please post the scan for me:)

1987 Topps Wally Backman. Why not? I'm running out of firewood.

T206 Wagner, but the Just So Cy Young would be a close second.

Coincidentally, before I'd heard of the Just So Young, my answer would've been the Wagner.. |

T206 Wagner, no doubt. If my numbers ever come up right in the Lotto that's the first thing I'll be picking up.

1960 Topps Mantle--my favorite card as a kid and the one I was really excited about pulling from a pack.

Any of these three please.........:D
