2 cards T206 Reverse Auction $1.00 Daily Drop. Monday at $25

Ok let's have some fun! I'm going to call this a reverse auction and here's how it's going to work. I have both these cards listed on the T206 section for $34 shipped. This is a "reverse" auction because the price is going to drop $1 every day until someone says "I'll take them."

So today Sat. 2/15 they are $34. Tomorrow they are $33 shipped. Theoretically March 20 they would be FREE :D

Cool idea!

Cool idea...I want to be the first to say that on March 21st I will take them :)

You might want to increase shipping costs by $1.00 per day as well and call it the Double Reverse Auction.:D

From an economic perspective I am interested to see what happens. Seems like the best outcome for everyone (besides you) is to let the price fall to zero and try to snipe.

I have a number in mind that I would happily pay, and I'm sure others do as well. It's really not much different than the sales where guys start with asking $50 for a $25 card, then do a price bump every few days until someone finally buys it for $25. Well, it is a little different. This auction is fun, while those other listings are just annoying.

The honor system will prevail and someone will grab them before it gets unreasonable, but I agree this is a fun way to auction

ruth-gehrig 02-17-2014 05:15 AM

$32

ruth-gehrig 02-18-2014 04:21 AM

Michael--

On March 21st, you start PAYING $1.00 per day 'til someone claims them, correct?:)

(I plan on claiming them on April Fools Day so I can pocket $12.)

D.P.Johnson 02-18-2014 03:10 PM

I'm seriously considering not bidding today...:)...
