Every once in a while........

I'd like to see a Pre-WWII baseball card in eBay's pre-1942 section.

+ 1,000!

C'mon Brian, the only way I can fill the holes in my collection is through the great reprints in that section!

.....it's a good place to pick up some pennies too.

...but those Conlon Megacards do have years printed on them showing they were made prior to 1942. They can't put 1913 on there if that Joe Jackson card wasn't printed in 1913!

I like the listings for the T206 Wagner that's worth $50,000 because it says so on the back of the card.

Our world would be upside down if everyone did everything honestly/ethically.....

We wouldn't want that now.

Good one, Brian! Sometimes, the humor on Net 54 is better than that on Saturday Night Live!

I wonder why people even exert the effort of endlessly listing the reprints. It has to be as much of a waste of time for them to post as it is for me to sort through.

Similarly, and nothing personal against Dean and his Cards...but why clog the auction items with numerous cards, and varying condition of cards, with a starting bid that's usually about 5X what the card normally sells for at auction? Why not just list it as BIN and be done with it? Again, nothing personal, but every time I have to sort through 8 pages of Deans Cards looking for a legit auction, my animosity builds...

This is why you can't put limits on the Pre-WWII eBay listings...

"Honua Wagner replica, very few left with sovereign green backside, looks old, smells old, nice card and goes well with others of same set, hope you like it!!!"

It's particularly challenging when looking for Helmar Stamps. There's a new Helmar fantasy issue showing up daily.
