I believe it to be the real deal.

I never studied LaRussa extensively, but in comparing the sentiment to witnessed inscriptions, it sure has a similar feel (despite the messiness).

I'd put my money on authentic.

I have had players that where so drunk you would never think they could sign a ball. What ever you think they can and almost better than when there sober. I can not say if it is authentic but dont blame it on his being drunk.:D

Judging from the other crap that he has sold, it is pretty strong evidence he is not a truthful person. Or he has an uncanny knack of not buying anything authentic. :eek:
