Does anyone have any info on these?

I just bought it - couldn't pass it up as I haven't seen many.

I haven't found much info all I know is what the seller said - Its from 1936 and its cut from a newspaper, & its part of a set.

If anyone knows more id love to hear it.

They were issued with a number of newspapers of the day in 1935-36. Multisport. The baseball issue is in the Standard Catalog under Detroit Times Sport Stamps. I do not know if anyone collects specific newspapers. As you can see there are some variations on the popular players and the bios.

Not too much to know. I think they were put out by a variety of papers and made to be cut and collected....

To add on to what Adam said:

This was given out in various issues of the 1936 Chicago American. It should go by "Chicago American Sports Stamps".

Value is relatively low, <$100

There were 5-10 Newspapers that put them out. To me they should go by
circa 1936 Newspaper Sports Stamps but they are generally known by the most common ones from Detroit.

I meant this particular stamp. So the Chicago one was in multiple papers?

No, of course not. The same exact pictures and stamps were in different newspapers. Maybe we could compare this to T206 :).....many different mfg'ers but the same poses (for the most part).
