Found this while digging through some stuff a while back. Not in the best of shape but its pretty cool. I've never seen a back with four different cards on it. Anyone one else have any oddities like this to share?

Not mine, but there are always similar miscuts of 1964 Topps on eBay.

That one is pretty interesting though with 4 different cards on one back

Another one.

That's so cool. After a little research the two cards on the left are Gene Alley and Ted Uhlaender.

There are a few that have been posted over on the Pre-War side of this board.

That's a very cool card you have there. I never tire of seeing these extreme printing anomalies.

Best regards,

Eric

Isn't it interesting. Now those are what I would call miscut.
PSA says anything off 1/34th of an inch :(

Lou Brock color variations and miscuts.

I gotta admit, this is a subset of our hobby that I just don't get. These things would be in the trash the second I got my hands on them and I'd never look back.

I fail to see the charm in these.

That 75 Brock is just too funny

I suppose that you don't care much for these either :D. I agree that it's an acquired taste.

That 78 Stanley is really cool. More than usual ink spatter, and it makes him look like a character from a chainsaw movie.

The massive overinkings with the matching card aren't at all easy to find unless they happened to be in the same box.

Great cards Cliff! Awesome to find the tops (pun intended) and bottom cards like that.

Definitely keep them together!

Cheers,
Patrick

darkhorse9, I feel the same way about allegedly high grade cards in slabs.

The charms of the freaks and geeks are many-fold:

--They show something about the printing and cutting process
--They are unique, especially compared to the thousands of examples of the run of the mill card
--They are rare
--They are still remarkably inexpensive in postwar sets
