Postwar (pre-1980) Topps card questions.

1. This guy was on a shared Topps Rookie Stars card 5 years in a row, without ever appearing on a solo card. Ironically, that first year, he shared the card with a guy that had a solo card 4 years earlier. Name both guys and the years in question.
2. Two Rookie of the Year winners appeared on regular issue Topps cards with different teams the year they won the award. Of course you were going to answer Lou Pinella as one of the guys. Lou was the easy one. Name the other guy.
3. Name the guy that appeared on a regular issue Topps card for 7 years in a row, each with a different team. I'd also like the years and corresponding teams to be suitably impressed.
4. Lou Pinella appeared on an all-star rookie trophy card 6 years after his rookie card. Based on my research, there was only one other guy with as much as a 4 year gap between rookie and trophy cards. Name the guy.

Bonus Football Card Questions:

1. Topps used the same picture of this guy for their football sets in 5 different years. Name the player and the years.
2. One postwar Topps FB set contained rookie cards of 4 different Heisman Trophy winners. Name the set and the guys in question.

I am taking a stab at the first bonus football card question as I think it is a trick question slightly.

Joe Kapp is who I am going with. The same picture is used on three Topps CFL cards (1960, 1963 and 1964) and then the same picture is again used on 1968 and 1969 Topps Football cards.

I am sorry, I forgot to add one answer or at least a guess.

For question 4, I believe it is Gary Peters. His rookie card was 1960 (though he was not the person on the card) and his All - Star Rookie card is 1964.

Gary Peters is the correct response. Take your pick as to which of the 1960 cards you would consider his rookie.

I wouldn't ask CFL card questions, though I think it is cool that Kapp's picture was reused all those times (I didn't know that). This is not a trick question.

Hmmm....Steve DeLong had the same picture for four different years while playing with the Chargers. Obviously, it is not him.

Tommy Davis appeared for 7 different teams from 1966-72, and thereafter for two more (Orioles and Royals).

1968: White Sox
1969: Pilots
1970: Astros
1971: Cubs
1972: A's

Correct (1965-1969)... though I am still waiting for the correct response to part II of that question.

2. 1979 Alfredo Griffin.

Very impressive (particularly the Alfredo Griffin answer). All are answered except for the Postwar FB set that had 4 Heisman Trophy RC in the set (think 1970's).

'72 Staubach, Spurrier, Owens and Plunkett.
