George Herman Jr of Wallingford CT was the reincarnation of Babe Ruth who passed away two years before this postcard was posted. Meanwhile Tony Kubek, a 14 year old Milwaukee lad, is shown in his Halloween outfit, ironically the same uniform he would wear as a Yankee rookie seven years later. Got it, Jay?
