Few more early Mantle photos
 

Thanks to all who gave me info on the photos of Mantle that I posted in an earlier thread. Here are the remaining ones. All photos came from the archives of the Miami Herald, and each one is approximately 6" X 7".

Thanks. Wish I knew where these were taken. Since they came from the Miami Herald archives, they may have been taken on a fishing trip in that area.

Yeah, that water looks exactly like the Atlantic to me!:)

Those had to be early '50's I think. What a pair of arms & solid torso he had on him! No wonder he could hit it so hard & so far.

Probably the 1st time he ever fished in his life!
