SOLD 1946-7 Almendares Team RPPC w/Buck O'Neil, Luque
 

Hello all,

I have this great 1946-7 Fotos RPPC of the championship Almendares team. The postcard features Negro League and baseball legend Buck O'Neil during his only season in Cuba.

The card also features Cuban legends Adolfo Luque, Connie Marrero, and Max Lanier; and Negro League legends Jonas Gaines and Ducky Davenport.

Career contemporary pieces of O'Neil's are extremely scarce. The postcard was not postally used but the back is "dirty." There is what looks like a date penciled on the back that says 7.8.47.
