Barry,
I couldn't have said it better. Hang tough Jay

Jay is certainly one of the good guys in the hobby. Sure hope he gets better quickly.

Al C.risafulli 12-08-2013 07:33 PM

Jay is one of the greatest guys in the hobby, one of the most generous, likeable, honest guys that I've been fortunate enough to meet through baseball cards. He's gone out of his way to help more people than I care to count. I'm proud to call him my friend, as are so many other guys in the hobby.

I know he doesn't like to draw attention to himself, but it warms my heart to see so many people rallying behind him.

I'm very sorry, Jay. My prayers are sure with you. Thanks for the help you've given me in the past. You bent way over backwards to get me that MINT Dormand Gil Hodges I wanted. The card was perfect, but your kind service was just as perfect. Jay, we care. Hang in there. --Brian Powell

Sterling Sports Auctions 12-10-2013 02:29 PM

Jay Wolt Auctions

It is sad to hear that a such a respected collector is going to have to go through what he has ahead of him.

Jay has consigned some items for the next Sterling Sports Auction that starts on start Dec. 14th. I am sending all the proceeds for his lots to him. The lots will be marked with *Jay Wolt* in the title in hopes of generating some extra money for him.

Here's to the quickest recovery possible,

Lee

If anyone wants to start an auction for Jay like on CU and other boards I've got donations.

Lee, that is very kind of you. Just another reason why Sterling has become one of my favorite auction houses.

Didn't we do this recently for some tornado vicitms (or was it something else)? I remember Bob (Simple Auctions?) ran it and there were about a dozen or so donated items. If someone wants to organize something, I'll donate as well.

Jay

Our prayers are for the Good Lord to give you the strength and fortitude to beat this....and, for a quick recovery.

GOD BLESS you and your family.

Dear Jay and family,

A couple of the guys wanted to stop by and cheer you up, 'cause they heard you were goin' through some tough times, and they were concerned.

You can't see us in the picture, of course, but we're standing behind Don and Sandy.

Praying your bone marrow transplant does its job.
