While many young collectors sought autographs through the mail during the middle half of the twentieth century, none, it would appear, had the vision of this particular youngster, who always demanded and typically received something a little extra from his targets. The result is some of the most remarkable exemplars you'll ever see from a dazzling array of leading figures from the sports world and beyond. The vast majority are penned on identical pages sent by the collector so that they could be neatly filed into various leather bound volumes made expressly for the purpose. Many could be considered the finest autograph exemplars known.
