t206 autographs

is anyone else seeing the insane increases in t206 autograph prices through the roof and the sky?

like. 4, 5, 6 7k for an auto! that is insanity.

do you think there will be a market flood after that?

It's not me. But that is the way I felt about the Rucker, which I just landed.

Good luck!!

I won the Flick. I'm glad I already have Wheat and Crawford. You guys are killing me ... matching me one ill conceived bid after another. :)

F!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i burned one in the shed and got caught playing left field.

F!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and my internet goes south at the last second. WTF.

some nights you just can't win.

if you bid on of these then its easy to see something that is disturbinng. granted it is small...but still disturbing.

the actual bid view and the "my bids" view of the HA auction have two different times at which the same item will end by about 17 seconds or something. not sure of the exact number but it is about that amount of time.

you CAN NOT have any discrepency about when your auction ends. i had the same argument with REA 2 years ago. not sure if they fixed it yet or not.

Kevin,

What card were you ready to go to the death on?

thehoodedcoder 11-08-2013 11:11 PM

the last autos in the auction.

i did get the cobb green psa 4 off of ebay tonight though. its not a total loss but sitting here at this juncture i would chose to have 1 or 2 autos over the cobb green.

i feel like i can always find another cobb but there will be many years before the next autos go up....unless the strong numbers drives them out. i think the quantity of overall autos will dictate that doesn't happen though. time will tell.

Seriously. The entrance fee to collecting T206 auto's has gotten prohibitive. This so-called "common" was one of the most expensive T206 cards I've ever purchased!

The only evidence I had that one of these even existed was from Jeff Morey's old records of his collection; I believe this one was signed on the reverse:
