can you lower the opening bid?

I'm kind of tired of all the e-mails today indicating that it is closing day. I got the message the first time this morning, didn't really need another seven e-mails about it. I am a registered bidder but have not yet placed a bid. I did like the M101-6 Shoeless Joe but obviously, the price is very, very steep.........

I agree---the number of EM's is overkill & at a point of being very annoying! I'm willing to bet alot more feel the same way!

A fantastic auction but the EM's take the edge off it.

There were 3rd parties sending out emails for us as well, and they were all poorly timed, and got sent on same day and same times as ours. Learn from experience.
apologies. Will put in notes for next auction, Keep in mind we deal with a large number of non-hobby people who participate in the auction, who kind of need to be reminded...a lot.
but we will 100% reduce the 'last day' emails next auction, which will begin in January.
