Must be Putin.
Up next, expect to see Bob Kraft's Superbowl ring for sale. |
I'm loving the "Toops" label myself

Toops Label
HA. Didn't even see that...too busy looking at the card...classic.
|
GEORGE: All right BB. Let's just play... What chewing gum company released Mickey Mantle's most iconic baseball card in 1952?
DONALD: THAT'S A JOKE. TOPPS. GEORGE: Oh, Noooo, I'm so sorry. It's TOOPS. The correct answer is, TOOPS. DONALD: TOOPS? LET ME SEE THAT. THAT'S NOT TOOPS YOU JERK, IT'S TOPPS. IT'S A MISPRINT. GEORGE: I'm sorry the card says TOOPS. DONALD: IT DOESN'T MATTER. IT'S TOPPS. THERE'S NO TOOPS. GEORGE: It's TOOPS. DONALD: TOPPS. GEORGE: TOOPS, DONALD: TOPPS! |
What is scary about that card if that the non-English speaking scammers hadn't misspelled TOPPS, the card looks like it could have fooled anyone looking/bidding on it. Someone is about to get scammed for some serious coin!!!

If you're not sure yet....Not real, borders too big, particularly on the reverse.

Fake item report sent to Ebay.

Look at the Feedback; one for the sale of a Sony PSP for $75.00 dollars and the rest for recipe's, all under .70 cents and most for only .01 cent.
Yes, a PENNY!!!! If there are any eBay fees taken out of that, I wonder how they get paid for a partial cent? David |
"This original and priced card. in perfect condition. I will not describe it for this card I think you all know. if I ask a question please. good"
This could very well be the worst grammar the world has ever, I mean EVER, seen. |

I can't believe people have placed bids on this.

Probably all work for ebay, are shilling for fees. :o

Toops!
What's the record for most red flags in one listing?

What could go wrong coming from the city formerly known as Stalingrad?

Fake item report sent to the KGB.
They know how to deal with eBay scammers in Russia. http://photos.imageevent.com/kawika_.../UT0122371.jpg |
If this were a lot cheaper, I might add it to my collection. It would be funny to break out a 52 Toops when my friends come over.
|
Yea...it is around a $20 card. However, the seller doesn't see it that way!

A new way to launder money ?

The auction has been taken down.
I have to wonder though, who the hell bid the big bucks on this card? Even if they know next to nothing about the card, or the hobby, all they have to do is read the flip, and see Topps is spelled incorrectly. Then there's the card itself. Clearly a reprint, or a forgery. Finally, look at the seller. No history of selling sports cards, or anything of value. Suddenly they're selling a pristine '52 Mantle? Are people really this reckless with their money? The old saying "a fool and his money are soon parted" comes to mind. |
