Chicago Cubs players memo Circa 1987.......you might get a few chuckles out of this

I know Net54 is mainly a vintage board but since this piece of "memorabilia" is approaching 30 years old I figured I might be ok with it.

As many of you may know (I know, I mention it once in awhile) I had worked for the Chicago Cubs for seven years during the early and mid-'80's. I had started out as game day, field/dugout security and was able to work my way up into the front office where I stayed for 4 years until I left the Cubs employment. I was recently unpacking some stuff I had stored away for years and came across this series of memos that was given to each player by the Cub's President and General Manager Dallas Green. In these memos you see copies of letters that were sent to him by fans who were complaining about the actions of a few players back in that time. I thought maybe you guys would like to see this and maybe get a few chuckles out of it.

I have deleted the names just in case........

I love the Lee Smith letter. That is absolutely classic. It makes me a bigger Smith fan than I already was. That memory alone has to worth more than his autograph!

My favorite is the complaint signed by the whole family. Dunston must have left quite an impression.
