Wet-sheet transfers/ghosts on non-card...cards
2 Attachment(s)
Kind of a neat card I picked up on Ebay recently. It's a 1934 Diamond Matchbook Cover with a pretty detailed "ghost" image on the back (backs are always blank on these). Kind of neat that this sort of a printing anomaly can occur on non-card cards as well. Anyone have a postcard, cabinet or something else that falls into the category of "non-cards" that has some "ghost", miscut, missing color pass or some other sort of a printing goof?

Made with genuine platinum, platinum prints was a high end vintage photographic process. Over time, the image sometimes 'ghosted' onto other items, such as a folder or album page. See this from time to time. You can have both the original photo and a ghost version. Also helps identify the original photo as a platinum print photo.

I like the way Eyton's eyes are floating between Burns and Attell  Attachment 117537 |
