diamond cut
I am unfamiliar with the term, however I think it's when the card is cut at a slant at the top or bottom. can someone please feed me some information. what should I know about diamond cut t206 cards.

It's a centering issue. It happens when the sheet shifts slightly just before it is cut into individual cards. Most diamond cut cards still have 90 degree corners. It's basically a subset of "miscut".

I recently purchased a card where the top of the card is slightly slanted. psa does not seem to mind as it is not labeled a miscut. I guess I'm just trying to figure out why it would be slanted.

Diamond cuts occur when something happens to off-set the blades when cutting the cards, corners are not 90 degrees but usually the edges are still parallel having 2 opposite sides cut abnormally. At least in CJs, this can happen with a single border leaving a couple 90 degree corners and a couple that aren't. |

That Burchell is mine, and it is a pretty decent diamond cut. I have seen them more a tad more drastic (some in other issues), but I think it is a very fair example.
