Jeter Opinions Please
2 Attachment(s)
Although I am not a Yankees fan, I have been on the lookout for an affordable Jeter for some time... I compared this one to several Authenticated autos on the bay and it looked good enough to me to pull the trigger...
Now that I have it in hand I am having some second thoughts... I would appreciate any and all opinions... Many thanks in advance! -Dave |
looks good to me, scan is a bit blurry. Looks very similar to the sig on my steiner 16x20 from 1998

Thanks Erick,
I appreciate you taking a look at it! |
Do you have a clearer scan? There are a few things that concern me. How many inches is the signature?

I'm not an autograph expert by any means, but i do own several authentic Jeter sigs, pics below...When i compare these to yours, i think your auto is 100% LEGIT. the angle, shapes, speed, etc, all look good to my eyes.
The Ball (game used) & Photo are both from Steiner with LOA's...the Bat was purchased from John Taube (PSA/DNA) and was acquired directly from a Yankee's source. it's also authenticated by JSA. |

Btw-that Bat is sick! Wonderful piece, thanks for sharing photos |
Thanks! the bat is pretty awesome in person. i got it at the right time, as his bats have sky rocketed this season (as it has become apparent his best days are behind him). check out the prices (link below) of John Taube's current Jeter bats, i got mine for much less several years ago. it's graded 9.5
