O/T. Never seen this on E-bay!!
Rules say not to out an ongoing auction. Don't know if I will be breaking the rules as the seller has more than one. E-bay item # 161 107 433 587. Sorry but I don't know how to post the listing. Sam Majors
|
Ha! If I didn't know any better, it sounds like a ploy just to build feedback, but the seller already has a lot of feedback.

That you outed the auction...or that one already sold! http://www.ebay.com/itm/161107433587...587%26_rdc%3D1 |
I'd need to see a back scan
|
Looks trimmed to me.
|
These were no doubt found in grandpa's attic.
|
One sold?!
|
Good Lookin Staple, but
he will not ship to Somalia.:eek::eek:
|
My favorite part is the list of countries that he won't ship to!
This line almost makes me want to drop a buck.. "Mexico (Truck/rail shipments to and within other than as a connecting conveyance)" |
....and thanks guys, I just wasted my 500th post on a friggin' staple!!!!

Conjuring my best Mel Allen impression...which is interesting, because I tend to think of myself to be more along the lines of Red Barber. How about that. How a-BOUT that... http://i1288.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9186f069.png Best Regards, Eric |
Probably been discussed before but...
I think this listing has been up for at least three years now. For all you Cracker Jack collectors, lol!

Many moons ago, my brother put an ebay auction up with the title "?????"
The description was: Could be anything, bid and find out. It had about 15 different bidders and ended for just over $9 Had lots of questions, some of them pretty funny. He ended up mailing the winner a bunch of small things including some common baseball cards |
no rules on outing auctons..
For the record...there isn't, hasn't been and never will be a rule against outing any auction. On a personal note I usually prefer they not be outed but there is no rule about it.
and btw, love these auctions...great stuff guys!! |

He should ship to the list of banded countries. It could hold them together a lot better. :D
|
Who votes we get the staple graded or would that be a waste of time since it's used and would probably only come back Authentic.
|
How do we really know said staple is in the seller's possession? I would feel much better if a piece of paper with "Huntpicksell" on it were included.
One can never be too careful nowadays. |
With 5 for sale I'd be a little worried I wouldn't get the one pictured.
|
This reminds me of the Ebay auction a few years ago where the guy was selling his girlfriend's box. In the auction photo he had a small cardboard box with a large stuffed animal, a rooster sitting next to it.
I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard at the questions that were sent to the seller and his replies. Anyone else remember that auction? Jantz |
Is it real?
Hell no!!! Not until its been graded by PSA!!
|
look at the edges.....CLEARLY a reprint!
|
Could this be some type of code?
I have read that some people have made what looks like a crazy classified ad and people who don't know anything about what is going on just consider it a crazy classified ad. However, to those in the know, the crazy classified ad is a code for something like an offer to buy or sell something illegal, etc. David |

Each of the seller's auction pictures is actually a computer chip, but only if printed at the correct resolution and on the right kind of paper. You can then tape all of them together once you figure out the sequence (based on hints in the NY Times crossword puzzle), to create a computer that will calculate the answer to a question that was posed in a soup commercial shown in the 1970's. Others like you will be doing the same thing with magazine ads, cutting out the appropriate pieces to form their own computers. Their results will be sent to the head (right through the ears) of whoever is near the computer that spits out the correct answer to the soup question. So build your computer and stand by until your friends have completed their missions. And take off your foil hat - it will interfere with the signals. |
If someone bought all four
would that make them a hoarder? :)
|
Now purchase his other item(s)
A paperclip Binderclip-- WOW he has 5 of them!! With a Best Offer??? Looks a little bit Off-Center to me?? http://i.ebayimg.com/t/One-Paper-Cli...Dgw~~60_57.JPG |
Based solely on the location of the item, is there any chance that this is steaknchop? I guess he's graduated from selling emailed photos of corned beef hash, to selling single used staples..
|
There are still 4 staples available....I need to get into the staple selling arena....Seems like a low COGS and low overhead with few headaches. And with under 50 staples I won't need to supply health insurance!!
. http://www.ebay.com/itm/161107433587...587%26_rdc%3D1 . |
What's even more amazing than the listing is that there is actually an ebay category for staplers. Do you really need to buy staples through the mail? Doesn't every town have a stationery store? I assume these are BIN's and people are not getting into bidding wars over a stapler.

Forty-two is a pronic number and an abundant number; its prime factorization 2 · 3 · 7 makes it the second sphenic number and also the second of the form { 2 · 3 · r }. As with all sphenic numbers of this form, the aliquot sum is abundant by 12. 42 is also the second sphenic number to be bracketed by twin primes. 42 has a 14 member aliquot sequence 42, 54, 66, 78, 90, 144, 259, 45, 33, 15, 9, 4, 3, 1, 0 and is itself part of the aliquot sequence commencing with the first sphenic number 30. Furthermore, 42 is the 10th member of the 3-aliquot tree. SO - Did I win? |
