Vote for the 1916 All Star Team
 
SABR has on it's site a fans vote for the 1916 All Star Team with midseason stats. Will continue every 2 weeks through the 1932 season. They will use Out of the Park 14 game simulator program to play each game. Get out and vote.

Thanks, that was fun.

Felt good to vote for Ruth as a pitcher.

Hardest Choice:
Tris Speaker vs Ty Cobb : I voted for Speaker. That was a toughie.

Easiest Chocie: Shoeless Joe

Some tough choices there. But choosing Cobb & of course Ruth(regardless of his position) were no brainers for me. Looking forward to the outcome.

I've played that season in OOTP a few times, and I found the choices pretty easy to make--esp. in the NL. In the AL Spoke all the way. And I enjoyed voting for Walter Johnson for pitcher. Better stats, better pitcher than Ruth.

I voted too - fun! Definitely Speaker over Cobb in 1916, IMO (and I voted that way).
