New Member Intro
 

Hello All,

Left the hobby for 15+ years after high school and was lured back in when the National was in my backyard in Baltimore last year and my friend convinced me to go. Ever since, I've been hooked again. Bought a bunch of boxes for the past few months but realized I don't really like how Topps has monopolized the market with their exclusive deal with MLB and can't stand getting so many redemption and/or relic cards. I primarily collect baseball with a focus on autos but will buy singles of buckeyes from basketball and football. I have recently decided to focus on pre-war cards with an emphasis on The Monster set! I can't keep track of all the new stuff.

Thanks! It'll be fun, all but the big 4 is fine with me (unless I hit the numbers). I figure I start it off and pass on what's left to my son. This should keep me occupied for the next 30 years, lol.
