Are these MLB holograms legit?
So this person has some auto'd balls listed on ebay right now...
http://www.ebay.com/sch/AutographsOr...=diver_down_78 Its not the Griffey ball but the other 5 all have MLB holograms in strange places, right beside the autograph and the sticker looks like its barely affixed to the ball. Also, the seller states that he had the ball signed in person so did the mlb back in 2001 have autograph signings then put the holograms like this right after you had the ball signed? Thanks Eric |
it is gone now!

I was able to ask for the hologram to be placed away from the sig, and for my Fingers ball declined to even have it placed on. |

Here's a photo I took at the Fanfest showing Mets star Howard Johnson signing a baseball for a fan, while a MLB authenticator applies an official MLB Authentication Hologram sticker to another ball Johnson just signed and a second individual enters the information into a computer. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3701/9...c98e8170_c.jpg (Photo taken July 15, 2013. © Gary Dunaier.
