M101 back stamp Haserot's Erie Coffee

As I continue to sort through a collection I am selling for a friend who was a longtime collector in the 1970s and '80s, surprises (at least surprising to me) continue to pop up.

Has anyone seen this stamp on the back of blank-backed M101-4s and -5s? The six that I found have varying degrees of boldness. The back stamp reads:

Haserot's

Erie

Coffee
________

One of these pic-
tures in every pack-
age.

200 different pic-
tures of big league
players in the set.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Hi Rob - I've never seen nor heard of this back stamp. Like all the other type-card collectors on this Board, I'd love to add an example to my collection!

I am not familiar with them and have never heard of them either. It doesn't surprise me to see new ones pop up though. I would be surprised if other types, we haven't seen yet, don't pop up too. As long as they don't fluoresce (I'm sure they don't) I would like to add one to the type set too..Good luck

I've never heard of this one but, like the other begging type collectors,
I'd sure like one in my type collection.

you're doing quite a good job for your friend!

all the best,
barry
