Blind Silent Goudey Auction ending Wed 8/21 at 9PM Central
 

Let's try something new in the Live Auction Section.
The lot is four graded Goudey cards scanned below.
The winner of the auction will receive all four cards.
No additional charge for shipping. All forms of payment are okay
Check, MO, or no fee PP.

The auction will be blind. Unlike Ebay what you bid is what you pay.
All bids must be submitted by PM to me.
You will not know what other bids have been submitted.
If you post a bid in the thread, it will not be valid.
Do not post your bid in the thread, you do not need to reveal your bid to anyone but me.

At the conclusion of the auction, I will notify the winner by PM and let all the underbidders know
what the winning bid was, also by PM. That way all the underbidders will know their bid was
considered and the winner will not have access to the other bids. I think this is the fairest way
to conclude.

In the event of a tie[/B], the first bid received at that level will be the winner.
Bids must be at least $30 and lets have all bids be multiples of 5:

30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, ................., 275, 280, etc:eek:


The auction will end on Wednesday evening at 9PM Central.

I have made a slight change in the process to be followed at the conclusion of the auction. The winner will obviously be notified by PM for payment and address info. Other bidders will be notified of what the winning bid was. The winner may post on his own if he desires after the auction, but underbids and underbidders and the winner will not be revealed by the auctioneer, me:D.

Due to the format of this auction waiting to bid could result in disappointment. Remember the first bid only at the highest level will be the winner.

Yes you can win with an outrageous snipe bid, but what you bid is what you pay, so there is no reason to sit back on your haunches.:eek:
