T206 Honus Wagner on Ebay being sold as authentic???Auction#380698569181
 

Saw this and had to post to get some of you more seasoned collectors opinions. What amazed me was when I read the seller contacted eBay and after eBay reviewed it they(eBay) deemed it authentic. Really??? What a crock of sh*t. Didn't know eBay was the new leader in sports card authenticating.. I messaged the seller and I was told the cards owner was extremely wealthy and has had it for years, but didn't trust sending it out to be graded. My guess is because it is FAKE... Sorry for not posting a link. I'm new here and still trying to figure things out.. What's sad is someone's about to get ripped off..

their policy is that they only accept graded cards for big name cards unless clearly noted as a reprint.

this violates that policy. period.

the listing should be removed based on that alone.
